Hi beauties!
I know so many of you have been curious about the new skincare we have been launching at Glo since the start of the New Year! I have been meaning to share more and time has flown. How is it March already? I feel like the older you get, things move in lightning speed. Does anyone else feel that?
A question that has been prominently asked is: Do you still use ZO? Do you still use SkinBetter?
The answer is YES!
So why did we bring in some of these new lines?
Because my skin in the last 5 years, since I have really committed to medical-grade skincare, has changed and evolved. Just as yours does. I have gone through many different seasons and my body has been through a lot (another blog to speak to this to come).
I will also at some point share another blog with my full AM/PM regimen, as many of you want to know what I’ve been using! This breaks down some of it, but not all. This blog will only highlight the new products at Glo.
My Skincare Journey with ZO & SkinBetter
When I first started Glo I committed 100% to ZO and very intense regimens and went all in on changing my skin. That worked for me then.
I wasn’t pregnant or breastfeeding and I could go all in with acids, retinols, HQ, etc.
I had a lot of sun damage, inflammation, wrinkles and texture, and using a strict ZO regimen truly transformed my skin at that time. I will forever be grateful for that.
I brought on SkinBetter Science during my pregnancy because:a) I loved the productsb) I was pregnant and couldn’t use all of my regular ZO go-to’s.
I also think it is good to change up your routine every now and then to keep up with your skin’s needs and the changes in your life, body and hormones.

Postpartum Skin Changes
Fast forward to my postpartum journey and that was a different story. I feel like even the perfume I have worn for 15 years was too much for me. I had to make some adjustments and figure out again what was right for me during this time and for the physical changes I was experiencing in my life.
LET ME SCREAM THIS… skincare is not one size fits all. This is why at Glo we love helping you create routines that are customized to what is best for YOU.
Over the past year since discontinuing breastfeeding I have personally sought out what my skin was needing. After a year of trial, error, and finding the best of the best, I decided to bring what I felt were the cream of the crop to Glo for you all to enjoy and hopefully love as much as I do.
Let’s Dive Into the New Lines at Glo
Hydrinity
First of all let me say this… Hydrinity started out as a wound care company. They worked with cancer patients and burn victims, and their results for healing and decreasing scarring were so goodthat they created a skincare line.
They are also in 30 countries and do not have to change any of their formulations to be sold in the EU, which to me speaks volumes.
My go-to products from Hydrinity have been:
Prelude Cleanser
Hyacyn Active
Vivid Brightening Serum
RetaXome
They are actually known for their hyaluronic acids, but I wasn’t initially drawn to the line for this. I’ll dive into those deeper another time, but ZO and SkinBetter also don’t carry HA products because it’s actually a very hard ingredient to formulate well due to the Dalton size of the molecule. Hydrinity has done it successfully.
Prelude CleanserThis cleanser is like a Hydrafacial in a bottle. It has a patented technology that literally draws out impurities and neutralizes free radicals with their microfusion technology. I love using this as the first step in my double cleanse routine at bedtime.
Hyacyn ActiveThis is literally an antibacterial for your skin. It helps kill bacteria, heal wounds faster, and clear blemishes quicker. I use it ALL the time. I take it on trips, use it on Mateo, and it is one of my favorite products in my lineup.
Vivid Brightening SerumThis is a serum targeted at brightening which I chose because I’m trying to clear up melasma, but it is also super hydrating. It helps fade stubborn pigment while brightening your skin tone so you look glowy and revitalized. It helps with PIE, PIH, melasma, sun spots and hyperpigmentation.
RetaXomeThis is a retinal encapsulated in an exosome. Postpartum my skin became extra sensitive, which is originally why I switched to Alpharet Overnight (which I still love). But my skin was always red after using retinol once I finished breastfeeding and I couldn’t figure out why.
The way this retinal is enclosed in the exosome makes the delivery system incredibly well tolerated. It also includes Hydrinity’s supercharged HA, so it’s very hydrating, which is unheard of for a retinal. For me, literally no irritation. This has become my new go-to.

ANFISA
Many of you may already know or be familiar with ANFISA. They are best known for their amazing lip glosses!
They come in the most boujee boxes and make you feel extra luxe when applying. The products feel amazing and hydrating on your lips. They come in a squeeze tube with a cool metal applicator that feels really soothing.
There are four colours available:
Original
Berry Crumble
Spice Cake
Angel Food Cake (just launched!)
We have Colorescience Peptide Lip Shine, but we didn’t really have anything in this tube style format at Glo.
AN-BALM Radiant Hydra-Balm
This has been more of a “rescue” product for me.
You can use it nightly if you want to, but personally I use it when my skin is feeling dull, dry, or out of balance. It literally brings me back overnight.
AN-BALM is a rich, luxurious treatment made with wildcrafted botanicals and nutrient-dense oils that melt into the skin and deliver serious repair.
It is loaded with 86 antioxidants and transforms from a solid balm to an oil. When you first apply it you feel like a glazed doughnut, but you wake up feeling like a plump juicy grape.
It’s more than moisture. It’s barrier support, inflammation control, and glow restoration all in one.
AN-DEW Azelaic Acid Serum
AN-DEW is a 10% azelaic acid + PH balancing serum.
I use this every morning. It’s safe for all skin types and helps with acne, dullness, fine lines, uneven pigmentation and more. It gently exfoliates to smooth texture, fade discoloration and keep pores clear.
Postpartum I was looking for something effective yet gentle, and this was the key. It’s also amazing for sensitive skin, compromised barriers, perioral dermatitis and rosacea because there is little to no irritation.

GlyMed+
My two favourites from GlyMed are:
Vitamin C Brightening Cleanser
CBD Mist
Postpartum I was struggling with melasma and dehydration, and these helped tremendously.
Vitamin C Brightening CleanserI love double cleansing with this. It’s milky, hydrating and brightening. I also use it in the morning as my only cleanse and really massage it into my skin to hydrate and soothe.
CBD Mist + B3 This is a powerhouse duo for your skin.
It delivers antioxidants, reduces redness and inflammation, regulates oil production, deeply hydrates, reduces irritation and soothes reactive skin. It’s a pigment brightener, wrinkle reducer and acne fighter. They call it a toner, but it seriously does THE MOST.
You can also use it to set your makeup for a beautiful glow and burst of hydration. My routine is Hyacyn first, then CBD Mist right after cleansing.

Adipeau
Two standouts here are:
Strong Body Gel
Volume Cream
These have been amazing for loose skin postpartum and volumizing after weight loss.
Strong Body Gel targets stubborn areas, sagging and volume loss. The science behind this is fascinating. The formula is lightweight yet powerful and helps boost firmness, smoothness and overall skin integrity.
It’s designed for the body but can also be used on the face.
Volume Cream works with your skin’s biology to stimulate and restore volume where it’s been lost. Over time it helps create a firmer, smoother and more youthful appearance.
The key with these products is consistency.

CO₂ Carboxy Mousse
This product has been a game changer. I had more breakouts than I had in a long time (definitely hormonal). Carboxy Mousse is basically oxygen therapy in a bottle.
It helps kill bacteria, reduce inflammation, and promote healing while leaving your skin buttery soft and glowing.
It’s great for concerns like:
acne
pigmentation
rosacea
wrinkles
eczema
dermatitis
sunburn
inflammation
If you’ve heard about the CO₂ Lift Pro Mask (which we use in clinic and in our Bridal Bootcamp), this mousse creates the same oxygen-rich healing environment. It can even be used after surgery, burns or wounds to help healing and reduce scarring.

Clean Skin Club
These are single-use face towels used after cleansing.
I use them morning and night and also bring them when travelling.
Think about what lives on hand towels and hotel towels, especially if you’re sharing them with others. And now that I have a kiddo in the house who wipes his nose and licks everything, I definitely want a clean towel every time!
These are such a simple but powerful upgrade to your skincare routine.

To Sum It All Up
Ok! I know that was a lot of information! Hopefully this gives you a better understanding of why I love these products and their purpose, and how they can fit into your skincare routine.
I’m truly so excited to share these products with you. I strive to bring the very best products into Glo for all of you beauties. Like I mentioned earlier, I personally tested these for one full year before bringing them into the clinic.
I do that because I never want anything in my clinic that I don’t truly believe in. At this point I feel like we are incredibly well equipped to manage all skin concerns and have the best tools in our toolbox between skincare and in-office treatments. We love creating personalized skincare regimens, so come visit us! These visits are complimentary so you can put your money toward products.
We can’t wait to see you soon!
